04/08/2006 - Club Event: Visit to The Hacienda (formerly of William Randolph Hearst), and the San Antonio Mission at Jolon, on Camp Hunter-Liggett

"On Your Marks!" All gassed up on high-octane coffee AND Premium!
Les Dergan, our very newest Club Member, drove his beautiful BRG 1965    E-Type Roadster all the way from Huntington Beach, specifically to attend our Club Drive.

Gary Parker drove his beloved and completely original 1952 XK 120 from Los Angeles, just to meet up with us all. Hats off to Les and Gary for being the Jag Lovers they so clearly are!
What a HAPPY group!

Welcome to unspoiled Central California!

Where are we? Has Peter lost his map/GPS again? These Brits have no sense of direction, except when locating the nearest pub!

Hacienda Highlights: Les and Gary stoutly refuse to give way to Any & All Non-Jaguars!

Well-deserved recognition for Julia Morgan & W. R. Hearst, co-creators of the stunning Hacienda

Note the beautiful murals which grace and enliven the Hacienda's imposing Dining Hall with key events from this abundant region's storied and colorful past.
Getting saddled-up and ready to go!

The Mission of San Antonio de Padua - Unfortunately someone let a VW derived Autobahn stormer onto the premises.....!
